2008 Bob Wilson Memorial Fun Fly

Warbirds Over Wilson Field 2008
 The 2008 Warbirds Over Wilson Field was another success at West Hickory Aeromodelers. There were 22 registered pilots and many more spectators to watch the great planes of the history of military aviation. From a 1916 Eindecker from WWI to a F-16 Falcon with turbine power. Sopwith Camel in Florida
 This is the only flying Sopwith Camel in the United States. Club member Ernie Masche was able to fly in a Piper Cub and captured some in flight photos of this British WW1 Classic fighter.
